Agilent PFC-free Vials and Caps

Agilent PFC free vials and caps offer a sample containment solution to meet the requirement of PFC free materials and which compliment the growing portfolio of Agilent PFC free workflow solutions. Perfluorochemicals (PFCs) containing materials (cap-septa composed of PTFE, tubing, fittings, filters, etc.) are installed as standard in HPLC systems. This results in PFC entry into the analytical system, which leads to undesired background contamination and coelution in PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) analysis.

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are persistent organic pollutants widely found in the environment. Regulatory agencies worldwide are implementing more stringent requirements for monitoring and identifying PFAS in water, soil, food, and manufacturing processes.
