Agilent provides a variety of dissolution vessels for use with Agilent dissolution apparatus, as well as other equipment manufacturers.
TruAlign Vessels for the 708-DS and 709-DS have a collar incorporated on the vessel to maintain accurate centering and verticality alignment. An indicator tab on the collar provides reproducible vessel orientation while the serial number offers easy identification.
TruCenter Vessels offer superior centering and vertical verticality for the discontinued 7025 and 7030 Dissolution Apparatus. They are turned on a lathe during manufacture to find the exact center and incorporate a groove and synthetic flange with magnetic collar to align on the vessel plate.
EaseAlign Vessels with centering rings are designed for the discontinued 705-DS, 7000 and 7010 dissolution apparatus, and are compatible with many other manufacturer instruments as well.
Molded Vessels are vacuum formed (VF) and offer the tightest precision available to reduce position-to-position variability and improve uniformity. Unlike standard vessels that are inconsistent in cylindricity, roundness and concentricity, the molded VF vessels meet stringent specifications and allow you to focus on testing your dosage form rather than worry about your vessel parameters.
The molded VF vessels are offered as TruAlign, TruCenter and EaseAlign as 1-Liter clear glass only. The vessels are available with or without a Certificate of Conformance (COC). With no set parameters for cylindricity, roundness and concentricity, it is not possible to control variability to this level with a standard dissolution vessel.
