Nucleonavi Metal-free glass-cladded rod columns promotes HPLC applications in the molecular biology sector, especially in the analysis of DNA and RNA. The Nucleonavi column is designed exclusively for the analysis of nucleic acids and nucleic acid drugs. It is known that DNA and RNA degrade progressively in the presence of metals. Nucleonavi has adopted the monolithic silica, which is a full-porous type single-piece silica. Moreover, by cladding (enclosing) with glass of the same composition, the monolith and the column tube are integrated to eliminate voids and improve resolution. With a rod rather than particle-type column, Nucleonavi presents a low sample adsorption level and excellent resolution due to the glass-cladded structure. Moreover, Nucleonavi features lower pressure than particle-type columns.
