Shodex GPC HFIP-800 Series (HFIP-803 to HFIP-807)

The Shodex GPC HFIP-800 series comprises high-performance GPC packed columns of different exclusion limits, which use HFIP (hexafluoroisopropanol) exclusively as the eluent. Engineering plastics such as polyamides, polyesters and polyacetates are soluble in HFIP at room temperature though they are insoluble in THF and DMF at the temperature. Polypeptides, polyvinylalcohol, ethylenevinylalcohol copolymers, styrenemaleimide copolymer, polyacrylonitrile, polymethylmethacrylate are also soluble in HFIP. HFIP-800 columns are specially developed for the size-exclusion analysis of such oligomers and polymers at room temperature.
