Agilent Hi-Plex Na (USP L58) uses a sodium counter-ion to provide selectivity differences through its ability to interact with the hydroxyl group. Hi-Plex columns typically use isocratic conditions with water as the eluent and temperature as the main variable for resolution control. Applications are Corn syrup, oligosaccharides.
