GS-Q

Agilent J&W GS-Q is useful for separations of various light gas compounds, including ethane, ethylene, and ethyne, freons, and sulfides (except for SO2). Although GS-Q is not suitable for quantitating water or alcohols, aqueous injections will not harm the column.

Polarity between Porapak-Q and Porapak-N
Separates ethane, ethylene and ethyne (acetylene)
Not recommended for quantification of polar compounds
Minimal conditioning time (1 hour) required
