Restek’s Raptor Polar X is a New-to-World, patent pending stationary phase that was specifically designed for and uniquely adept at retaining polar, anionic and hydrophilic compounds. The most commonly used LC retention techniques for polar compounds are HILIC and ion exchange approaches. The Raptor Polar X is a novel phase chemistry that blends these two mechanisms perfectly on a single ligand, allowing the user to access both in a tunable fashion driven by solvent and pH adjustments for “just right retention” for difficult to retain polar compounds.
