Multi-Mode Sample Introduction System (MSIS)
The MSIS provides simultaneous vapor generation of environmentally sensitive elements including As, Se and Hg with low μg/L detection limits. It provides better performance than conventional nebulization through thin film hydride technology, while offering a choice of three modes that eliminates changeover and allows routine and hydride elements to be determined using the same setup. For best performance when determining environmentally sensitive elements such as As, Se and Hg, it is recommended to use the conventional vapor generation technique using the VGA 77.
